Thirty-seven years after The Dark Crystal debuted we finally get to go back to the world of Thra. The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance is a prequel to the original movie and follows three Gelflings who discover the where the Skeksis get their powers. Upon finding this they set out to start a rebellion and save their world.
The release date for The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance is August 30th on Netflix and will be a 10 episode series.
